As an administrator of a workspace, you can set an individual flat hourly rate for each project in your workspace. This is also possible for the respective Project manager.

The hourly rate you define applies to all time entries that are posted to the corresponding project as billable and is thus interpreted as earnings of the respective project or employee.

When a general hourly rate and an individual hourly rate for the team member are stored in the workspace, these are overwritten by the specific project hourly rate and always applied to all project members within this project, if not defined again individually differently on the project member level.

Below you will learn in detail how to set the hourly rate for a specific project:

Now click into the Hourly rate input field and enter the amount here, that should apply to all billable times booked on the corresponding project (e.g. "122,50" or "210").

The currency displayed is based on your setting in the workspace.

In our next article here, you will learn how to set an individual hourly rate for a specific project member, which will override the specific project hourly rate, the team member's individual hourly rate, and the general hourly rate for the workspace if the case arises.
